FOSS4G SotM Oceania 2018 - Community Day
Our community day is the grand finale to our conference line-up. It is an opportunity to get hands-on experience with some of the geospatial topics discussed in the proceeding days. Taking inspiration from the FOSS4G conferences that have gone before us, the day will feature codesprints, humanitarian and local mapping projects, and an accessible introduction to open source coding. Most importantly, the event is free and open to all, even those not attending the main conference.
The community day will be held on Friday 23rd of November in the Old Arts Building at the University of Melbourne. We will be starting at 9am and finishing at 5pm, with free catering provided throughout the day.
More information and a list of proposed events can be found at https://foss4g-oceania.org/program/community-day.
The overall FOSS4G SotM Oceania event will include a full day of workshops, a 2 day conference, a community day, and social events in the vibrant, yet laid back city of Melbourne.
This registration page is for the community day, if you are interested in registering separately for the conference you can do so here: http://tickets.foss4g-oceania.org/
